I came upon this ad on the internet and I think that this ad is so simple but says so much. I liked this ad because it is timeless. This ad came out in 1979 and depicts how gas prices were an economic toll then just like they are today. This ad is a simple cartoon sketch with a man holding a gas pump to his head- which is suppose to represent a gun. Instead of killing himslef with gas prices, he could just buy a volkswagon. Basically stating that volkswagons are fuel efficent and gas friendly.
